From time to time, I will post success stories by parents with whom I have worked. I was asked by a writer for the Minneapolis Star and Tribune to introduce her to several parents who have successfully worked with me on the launch process. It’s interesting that the parents she chose still have two young adult children living at home, but, as I noted in my recent blog on multigenerational living, this does not mean they are not launched.
In fact, both are working full-time, paying rent, doing chores around the house, and getting along with their parents. So, what’s the problem? Please click on the link below to read this article. This parent shares her challenges and successes. She reports toward the end of the interview that she feels somewhat embarrassed about her adult kids living at home. Unfortunately, she didn’t have access to my blog. Hopefully, she has read it by now.
